Appeal / Invitation

Sometimes tight restraints inspire even greater creativity. We work with many political parties and certainly one standard request we've come to expect is cost-efficiency. Typically, a political party will opt for a 2-color printed piece, as opposed to 4-color, which limits our palette considerably but forces us to get more creative in order to get the most from each design. In some cases, we are actually impressed by our own work.

We were provided with a lot of copy for this appeal piece, but in order to make this piece more appealing, we decided to "divide and conquer." We graphically took hold of all the copy and made art out of it, turning each quote into unique but integral part of an overall eye-catching graphic. We worked our hardest to make the 2-color limitation appear as a design choice rather than a cost-cutting decision.

For this particular piece we created the standard appeal invite, outer envelope, RSVP card and return envelope. The client produced the final printed piece.
